Jim Jefferies
A live tour needs products the audience wants and a plan to get them to the show. For Jim Jefferies’ 2024 Australia tour, I connected assortment planning and artist feedback with the design, production and touring teams.

The assignment
Build a fresh merchandise range for returning fans and turn artist feedback into a production plan that fits the tour schedule.
What I delivered
The range progressed through artist approval, production coordination and venue handoff, followed by a post-tour inventory and settlement recap.
My contribution
- Shaped the assortment using prior-tour sales information and product references.
- Translated artist feedback into specific revisions to imagery, typography, garment choices and product details.
- Compared production costs and margins, presented the range for approval, and coordinated production and venue planning.
Make the range feel fresh
I brought prior-tour sales information into the assortment discussion and pushed for updated versions of familiar fan designs. For the Happy Wife tee, I requested a cream/ecru garment based on the performance of earlier white tees. I also worked through garment options and production costs before the team committed to the range.
Give the design team clear decisions
After reviewing the concepts with Jim and his team, I consolidated the feedback: return to the original tour photo, revise the typography, simplify the Happy Wife layout and replace the football graphic with the JJ crest on the April 18 tee. I supplied the photo and logo assets and carried the revisions into the next approval round.
Connect approval to the show
I presented the revised assortment, commercial plan and production timeline to the talent team. Once Jim approved moving into production, I coordinated the next steps with the supplier and touring team. The work continued through venue merchandise planning and a post-tour recap covering remaining inventory and settlement.
From product decisions to the tour range

A coordinated tour identity
The revised photo and typography carried across the tee and hoodie. I reviewed the supplier’s hoodie proposal as part of the assortment for Australia’s colder touring season.

A simpler Happy Wife tee
My brief called for a simpler front-and-back layout and a cream/ecru garment. The revised mockup shows how those specific decisions changed the product.

Turn an artist idea into a bundle
Jim proposed a Bertie Beetle-style show bag. I translated the idea into a product brief and worked through the bag and bundle details with the production team.
